What happens when you turn 30, and realize the life you are living, which is the life you had always dreamed of living,  is no longer the life you want to live?

You are single …

You have no children …

You want out of your job …

You don’t own a home …

You don’t have anything tying you to any specific place …

You aren’t sure exactly what it is you want out of life, but know what you’ve got isn’t it?

For me, the answer was simple:

Travel.

d travels ’round documents my time abroad navigating my 30-Life-Crisis and chasing my dreams.

Following seven months of solo backpacking in 2010, I returned to Las Vegas to work in PR. That didn’t last long. Following a volunteer stint at Elephant Nature Park just outside of Chiang Mai, Thailand, I found my next passion: to raise awareness about the plight of Asian elephants in the region and to apply my work experience to Elephant Nature Park.

Now, I’m living as an expat in Thailand, working to expose the truth about the elephant tourism industry and teach people how to be responsible tourists.

In my pre-travel life, I was a public relations professional with a career which spanned Maryland, Las Vegas and Atlanta. I am a regular contributor to Viator and recently served as the Las Vegas columnist for OneTravel.com and CheapOair.com. My writing has been featured in The Huffington Post, Vegas Seven, Matador Network and more.

Happy reading. Safe travels.

And remember, at the end of the day life isn’t about

living happily ever after — it’s about living!
