The sights and sounds of Sin City include an outdoor show presented by the Treasure Island Las Vegas hotel entitled the “Sirens of Ti.” Offering four shows every evening, located by the hotel entrance, the gala event follows the journey of a group of hapless pirates in the clutches of evil sirens. The excitement does not stop here, as the Strip features a number of live entertainment shows.

Magic Shows

While celebrity magic acts are easily found on the Strip, a number of lesser known illusionists also offer shows that are no less entertaining. The Mac King Comedy Magic show at the Harrah’s does not feature spectacular lighting or props, but his illusions awe audiences of all ages none the less. Using ordinary items, King’s tricks defy the laws of science, while offering uproarious humor. A former contestant on “America’s Got Talent,” Michael Turco’s Magic Show features music, dancing and illusions. Often with the help of an audience volunteer, Turco mesmerizes crowds with a variety of tricks.

Musical Entertainment

For a night of unique and interesting musical entertainment, guests head to the Harrah’s for the Legends in Concert show. Quality performers pay tribute to some of the most beloved artists in the music industry. Appearing and sounding amazingly like the original artists they represent; performers offer everything from country and classic rock to soul. Fans of modern horror movies travel to Planet Hollywood for the live production of “Evil Dead-The Musical.” This hilarious performance combines subject matter from the Evil Dead and Army of Darkness movies along with musical numbers. The show includes audience interaction and promises plenty of laughs and surprises.

Comedy

Kevin Burke’s “Defending the Caveman” offers a unique way of understanding the behaviors of both genders by comparing modern day civilization to that of our ancient ancestors. Burke hilariously suggests that prehistoric habits merely adapted to modern culture. The Laugh Factory at the Tropicana offers a variety of comics covering a wide range of subjects. Dozens of now famous comedians began their career at the world famous club.

Buffet Meals

While visitors find any number of cuisine specialties in Las Vegas, the Strip is widely popular for the selection of buffets featured at many of the famous hotels. The Bellagio offers a luxurious dining experience that includes seafood, sushi and Kobe beef. Caesar’s Palace provides a sumptuous brunch on Sundays. The Flamingo provides steak and shrimp feasts, while the MGM Grand offers a fine dining experience through a buffet filled with upscale American foods.

Hotels hosting individual shows offer Las Vegas show tickets. Reserve tickets online, by phone or in person. Purchasing tickets in advance often includes discounts ranging anywhere from 10 percent and up.
